It’s been over 10 years…

…Since my last blog post. I’d love to say a lot has changed, but I’ll be honest, I’m still me. Speaking of which, I should introduce myself. My name is Dana Skvarek II. The “II” part is pretty important, although if you see my dad and I side by side, you won’t be hard pressed to tell us apart. By the way, it’s pronounced “the second”, but I often prefer “2.0” for laughs. I’m the owner of a small video production company in Arizona, and I’ve been producing and directing for a while now. But before all that, way before, I’ve been writing.

And that’s what this blog is mainly, mostly, probably all about. The written word. To date I’ve written shorts stories, poems, novels, novellas, screenplays, teleplays, manga, comics, and more emails than you can shake a stick at. I published my first novel at age 16, and 18 years later I’m still at it. What’s more, I created this blog at the behest of my wife in order to share some of my thought bubbles with anyone who would care to read. So, you reader, hello and welcome to my blog.

As of this writing, I’m working on a number of projects in film, television, and print. I’d be more than happy to share some chapters, segments, and the like from time to time. And by time to time I mean often, so please if you’re enjoying this, follow my blog and check back later. Also, feel free to drop me a line and say hello. I’m always looking to meet new and fascinating people. I’m also looking to meet angry and ugly people, but don’t worry, I won’t divulge which category you fall into…  Dana_bw
